Your Wheels will never be this pretty.
I have decided that these are the coolest wheels ever. Normally I have a shockingly bad wheel and crank fetish, but being a ‘Champagne taste on a Beer budget’ kinda guy, I rarely indulge, but this time I decided to go the full monty. Not to everyones’ taste especially in a market where most customers have only just figured out that red goes well with white and black, but what would you expect from me, eh?
Pictures of the matching bike when I finally pull my finger out of my butt and find more than 15 minutes to myself.
And try to remember how to bleed brakes.

“only just figured out that red goes well with white and black”
Oy!

Thought you’d like that one! You can rest assured though, that in 5 years you bike will look cool, and mine will look like the failed fashion experiment that it was.

Maybe, but I did have a moment just then where every dull, top end black white and red carbon Trek, Avanti, BMC, etc, etc flashed before my eyes.
It was truly frightening.
Besides, I think the crazy colours you have there work well. The spokes have tempered my otherwise categorical hatred for Celeste…

Yeah, I normally hate it, but then again I also like 1980’s Yeti Cycles “Desert Turquoise” which is where the initial inspiration came from. The frame itself is darker and greener than the rims, so it’s really just a ‘tone-on-tone’ effect.
Chances of your bike being mistaken for a BMC = ZERO. =]
Yeah, I’m normally not a ‘Celeste’ fan, but then again I DO like 1980’s Yeti Cycles “Desert Turquoise” which is where the initial inspiration came from. The frame itself is darker and greener than the rims, so it’s really just a ‘tone-on-tone’ effect.
I wish more companies did brown anodising though.

The colours may not ‘float my boat’, but I’m very interested in a ride report - get them dirty
btw did you bring the Sagauro/Rampage’s in from the U.S. or are they available in Aus?

Sagauro was local, Rampage from the US. It’s way too knobby for around here, so I’m going to get another Sagauro as well as a pair of Conti Race King 2.2 and see how they both go.
